You are right that Cathy "owned" this topic.
But by definition, most of the members of PD operate on intuition anyway. We all read, discuss, debate, study, etc; but when it comes down to it, we can't prove any of it. Some of us believe that science is Truth, some of us believe that all religions hold bits and pieces of Truth, some of us believe that Nature alone can show us all the Truth we need to know, and some of us combine all of the above.
Personal intuition is the part of our mind that tells us what we can accept or reject; what is plausible, and what is doubtful. Allowing intuition to guide us is what separates us from blind faith...
