I've driven by it a few times. I don't see what all the fuss is about. Oh... Wait... This is Oklahoma.

"They want to impose their beliefs on me, while I don't want impose anything I believe on them," Dusenberry said.

Do you think he's refering to the billboards because if so then he's throwing stones from his double glazed condo.

Hey, speaking of Oklahoma City, I once ate at the worst Cajun restaurant there. They actually asked me if I wanted my etoufee on rice. I asked them how else you could make it and they said lots of folks like it with linguine.

On the plus side, I did go to a very good barbeque in a place that looked like it used to be a garage. I'm not used to the dry barbeque so it took a bit of figuring out. Tasty though. Do you know where these places are?

All in all, Oklahoma City made me realize just how good I have it, growing up in and living near a restaurant city like Chicago.

What does all this have to do with the topic of the thread? Well, when I got back to Chicago I said, "Thank god for Chicago style pizza."

Probably a restaurant in Bricktown. Probably ether the Bricktown Brewery or Earls:

Yes, Pearls. I'm pretty sure it was Pearl's Oyster Bar. This website looks a lot nicer than I remember though. They must have fixed up the place since I was there. This would have been in the late 90s or Double Aughts.

I think I've been to Earl's too. I'm sorry, that was the other place we did go that was good. I think we went there on Sunday afternoon.

This place I'm thinking of was very old. We had been at a National Guard conference and the General recommended it for lunch, so it was pretty close. I don't remember where we were for the conference though.

The barbeque place was a little hole in the wall sort of place. When we walked in I could see the whole entire place was encrusted in greasy smoke and I said, "Oh this place is going to be good." There were red and white picnictable tableclothes on the tables, paper plates and plastic utensils.

SO, Earl's, this other place and Atheism are all Okay in OK.
