But what if He grew up Republican? Or worse yet, Libertarian?

 But I expect Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, and Independents (as well as any other kind of political position - Socialist, Communist, etc.) would all come in for a share or his 'corrective speech'. (Some more than others, no doubt). If orthodox Christians and Muslims (both of whom believe in the physical 'second coming' of Jesus) are correct, I guess we'll find out. Or if Edgar Cayce and others who predict his reincarnation are correct, we'll also find out (if we figure out for sure that the 'reincarnated' person is the reincarnation of Jesus). Otherwise, it's interesting to speculate, isn't it?

Yes, it is. The scary thing is that it is speculations like this that have led to persecutions and human suffering. Let's be careful not to start seeing the antichrist!

She/He'd probably find the government, these days, not much different then back then with Pilate and Ceasar, eh

He'd probably say give god what god's due; give the government what the government's due and we could go back to our eternal discussions of just what is "due".

I would be fine with Jesus or anyone taking on the establishment. My point was that that I disagree that oil companies, corporations, banks, etc. are evil entities or that America is evil for using more resources per capita. Why would anyone assume that God/Jesus is anti-capitalist?

Good point. He would speak to people, not establishments.

I don't think that Banks, Oil Companies, and Corporations are evil, but they are greedy and people get hurt by their greed. I think that Jesus would address that.

I'm with you, driver. Plus, I don't see the word "evil" in the above quotes, or am I missing it?

They are greedy? How? Do you have a 401(k)? Do you know anyone whose retirement comes from investments? Do you have a job or know somebody who might want one? Are there some bad companies? Certainly! But without profit this nation comes to a sudden halt.

I will not continue in this forum, but I will post one question in the political forum.

We probably don't disagree that much. We may just be defining things differently.
