As I said in my intro, I do have some christian deist beliefs, so I'll be looking forward to starting some discussions here.

1. Why Christian Deism? A number of people have been great teachers with messages of peace and understanding of fellow mankind. Buddhist Deism, Einsteinian Deism, Spinozaian Deism, etc. may be significant, too. Is Christian Deism important because such a large population of this planet characterize themselves as Christians?
2. Is Christian Deism much different from the Gnostic beliefs that were prevalent at the time that Jesus lived?
3. One may enjoy further reading of the teachings of Jesus referenced on this page http://www.godonlinehome.com/jesusbeforegod as Jesus - Before he was God. Both The Secret Teachings of Jesus and The Lost Gospel Q would be enjoyable reading by Christian Deists.
